Jazzy Talk- Relationships... Are you Jealous of the "friend" ?

Do you ever find yourself jealous of the type of relationship that your man or woman has with that special friend of the opposite sex? Maybe sometimes reading their messages on facebook or going through your bf/gf's phones just to make sure there isn't anything else going on besides a friendship? Well the truth is many people go through this sort of thing all the time in relationships. The real question few may wonder is, Is it ok for your man or woman to have friends of the opposite sex while in relationships. And should your boyfriend or girlfriend be jealous over the friend.

I believe that when you're in a relationship it is fine to have friends of the opposite sex. Whenever I am in a relationship with a man I feel that is ok for my boyfriend to have female friends BUT in order for that to work there must be some sort of boundaries that both my boyfriend and I can agree too.

Here are My 3 main rules of friends of the opposite sex:

1.  Set Boundaries.  When two people are in a committed relationship there should be boundaries and rules from the beginning but especially when it comes to dealing with friends of the opposite sex.  One rule that I have is for female friends and male friends not call or come by past a certain time. You gotta make sure you set time aside each day for your man or your woman that is just for the two of you, no texts no calls.

2. Know Your Partners Friends.  Now this doesn't mean that when you meet your boyfriend's female friends that you get to rolling the neck and pointing your finger talking about " If you mess with my man....... " NO! How about you and your man have a little get together, he invite his friends, she invites her friends, both male and female friends. And everybody get to know one another, then you can decide from there if you can deal with those "special friends" or not. If you believe you can't deal with your partners friends then baby, hit the road jack and never go back. Unless you are someone worth holding on to in your partners mind, those friends will still  be there 9 times outta 10 so you gotta be able to deal with those friends.

3. Trust. Trust your boyfriend or girlfriend when they tell you those "special friends" are just friends. If someone reason you  believe in your heart it is something else going on, then get out of the relationship. This can stir up jealousy that can lead to an unhealthy relationship.

Mommy Approved : Gerber Graduates Yogurt Melts

Hello Mom's Of the World! So my son Jayden is 9 months now, so you all know what that means... Table Food Time!! I been looking for some snacks I could keep in my diaper bag that wasn't gonna be too messy but also would be something that Jayden would like. I been eyeing these yogurt melts just out of curiosity for as long as I can remember. Now I finally got the chance to get them for my son since he is a crawler now. Jayden absolutely LOVED these yogurt melts, he couldn't get enough. I love them too because I can just throw them in my purse or the diaper bag when we're out and about but also most importantly because they don't leave a mess!

Loreal Ever Pure Moisture Deep Restorative Masque

Hello Everyone!!! Every since I went natural back in February 2011, I been on the hunt for a good moisturizing deep conditioner. I came across this Loreal Ever Pure Moisture Deep Restorative Masque at Walgreens last week and I decided to give it a try.  The product is a pretty thick consistency, the smell.. I HATE, its sort of reminds me of a menthol meets rosemary.  The application process was ok. When my hair likes a deep conditioner, the second I apply the conditioner to my hair, it feels like butter. I didn't get that feeling with this product. I left the product in overnight, when I went to rinse it out the next morning it did leave my hair sort of moisturized but definitely not what my hair needed. If I had to rate this product it would definitely be a 2 out 5 stars.

Wet N Wild Product Review

A couple weeks ago I went to Walgreens and bought a couple of products from Wet N Wild.  I purchased the Wet N Wild Color Icon Trio in Cool as a Cucumber and the Mega Last Lip Color in 907c Mauve Outta Here.

I LOVE this lipstick!! Its a matte lipstick, but it's not like any other matte lipsticks I've tried because it is not as drying on your lips. It very moisturizing, very pigmented and very affordable. So all of you divas on a budget, mom's on a budget this wet n wild lipstick is for you!

For years I have always used Wet N Wild products but I have never tried their eyeshadow. After trying the Color Icon Trio in Cool as a Cucumber, I wish I would've tried these eye shadows a lot sooner. I absolutely love this palette! The application of the shadows is very soft and smooth. These shadows are very pigmented! For 3 bucks you are not only getting makeup that is budget friendly but you are also getting good quality makeup for a great deal. I will definitely be purchasing more!

Amiclubwear Shoe Haul!!!!

Lately I been obsessed with heels!! For the past few months I've only been buying shoes. No clothes, no hair, no jewelry.. just STRAIGHT SHOES!! lol. It's Something Sweet about Sundays.

I have the world's biggest sweet tooth. I'am constantly craving something sweet and since I don't normally keep sweet foods in the house, Jayden and I took a trip down to walmart for some sweet treats. This week I've been craving ice cream. I decided to pick up a few different flavors, just in case one flavor didnt hit that sweet spot. lol. And btw.. Ben and Jerry's Blueberry Cheesecake... To Die For!!!

Hey dolls and Gents,  I went to my favorite store of all times.... TARGET!! lol. I feel like such an old woman whenver I say that! But it is true.. I adore target! I could literally spend hours and hours in that store, its insane! I can get everything from clothes for myself and Jayden to things for the home and of course everything jazzy in between. Rue 21 Haul

Hey dolls and gents! My family was in town for Labor Day weekend and we all planned to go out for dinner on saturday. I wanted something new to wear so I decided to go to Rue 21. I LOVE Rue 21! The quality of their clothing is not very great ( just keeping it real...lol) but when you need something cute, especially last minute, Rue 21 is the way to go. Here is a couple of pics of the few items I bought. Enjoy!

Now this picture doesn't do this top in justice! lol. It looks way better when it is actually put together. But I loved this top it was very light and breezy, especially nice for these hot summer days. I only paid 6 dollars for it.

Anyone who knows me or knows of me, knows me for my big earrings! lol. I LOVE big earrings! So when I seen these I had to get them. They are very large and right up my alley! This earrings also come in silver.

Mommy Approved: Walmart Haul

I went to walmart to pick up a few items for my son Jayden. I came across the cutest shirts! I love to dress my son in shirts with a collar. They are so perfect for every occasion. You can dress them up or dress them down. These were 5 bucks each so I had to get them. Then I picked up the Vtech Dial & Discover Phone. I always catch Jayden trying to play with my blackberry lol, So I figured he may like this. I also picked up a Yo Gabba Gabba Blanket ( Jayden's favorite show by the way) and a Nuby IcyBite teether.

Netflix and a Night with Sailor

As a mom, we tend to base our lives around our kids and family. Somtimes forgetting about ourselves. When I became a mom, my whole life my changed. The hours I would spend shopping, getting my nails done and nights out on the town, suddenly became hours and hours of diaper changing, feedings, playing with my son etc. It is very rare that I will have a moment to myself. So this evening I decided to set aside time for Jasmine. I spent the evening watching Keeping up with the Kardashians on my netflix and painting my nails. It was so relaxing and great to have that time to myself. I think its very important as mothers to set aside time for ourselves every now and then.
